so... HOW DO YOU PLAY?Good question... actually great question.

The Imposter Kings is a card game where you try to figure out what your opponent is doing and outsmart them (and then make them cry).

Each turn new information is revealed telling you something about your opponent’s strategy.

Taking advantage of that knowledge while crafting your own plan is the key to winning the throne.

Here's how it works:

Oh, you don't want to watch the video?

Thats fine we only spent a month making it :(

Well then...

To get started grab a friend (or three), get comfy, and deal some cards.

Read the Cards.

Big cards are good. Small cards are also good but... small. Cards can do other things that are good.

Don't show your cards.

Play your Cards.

To play a card it must be the same value or higher than the last card played. Then use special abilities. Special abilities are good.

Cards are playing into 'the court'.
The last card played is considered on 'the throne.'

Start Sweating.

The last player able to play their card to the throne wins the game.

Unless...

...The King is Played.

Each player has a King. Once per game the King can negate the card on the throne, granting another turn.

to negate a card is to ‘disgrace’ it.
You will also draw a card.

About those abilities.

Cards like the Assassin can end the game on the spot if the enemy slips up.

Different cards and abilities can work together to create powerful combos.

Well done!

You have assassinated the King and claimed the Throne. You win. Now shuffle the deck and prepare for the next game!
